Village store sells 768 Cadbury's Orange Twirls in just a few days

A village shop keeper has sold out of 16 cases of the sought-after Cadbury’s Orange Twirls in just a few days.

Londis Carstairs Junction store secured 16 boxes of the popular chocolate treat containing 48 bars in each but they didn’t last long.

In just a few days customers were travelling from all over to get their hands on the sought after chocolate.

Owner, Harry Hallen, said: “We had 16 cases of twirls with each box containing 48 bars.

“These have now sold out and we’re hoping our symbol group Londis will be getting them in for next week’s delivery.

“People have travelled from all over South Lanarkshire to get them.

“Well I always keep an eye on what’s new and trending.

“We had originally posted about the Orange Twirl on August 16. So we had posted early to get everyone excited for it. And it was available from Londis soon as it was released.”
