Evil Adrian Bayley, who raped and murdered Irishwoman Jill Meagher, was stabbed in prison yesterday, it was claimed.
Bayley, serving at least 40 years, was wounded by inmates while locked up inside inside Barwon Prison, Melbourne on Thursday, according to media reports.
The sadistic killer suffered minor injuries.
Bayley has been kept away from mainstream jails over concerns he would be attacked by other prisdoners.
A Corrections Victoria spokeswoman said: “A prisoner received minor injuries following an incident at Barwon Prison on Thursday afternoon.”
“The prisoner was assessed and treated at the prison, but did not require hospitalisation or any ongoing treatment.”
Ms Meagher was attacked by the vicious thug while walking home in Melbourne on September 22, 2012.
The 46 year-old Australian brute has never shown any remorse for the murder of the Co Louth native.
