Vile racist graffiti spray painted onto the side of Glasgow home

Vile racist graffiti has been spray painted onto the side of a Pollok home.

A photograph taken of the racist language shows graffiti on the side of a house in bold white writing which states 'p*kis out now'.

Locals have quickly hit out at the 'disgusting' behaviour after someone sent the photo into a local community page.

A message sent into Crookston and Pollok Community said: "This was brought to my attention this morning.

"This home is run by a family who are hard working and go about life every day like each and every one of us!!

"This racism on a high scale is just not on!!! Its disgusting. Lyoncross is dangerous just now with wee idiot kids ruining a perfect wee community we have here.

"How much more can we take? And maybe the community police need to start appearing around here more often."

Residents in the area expressed their outrage at the incident and hoped the person responsible was quickly found.

One person wrote: "OMG cannot believe this, disgusting.

"These kids and their parents should be ashamed of themselves, can't believe this still goes on. I'm ashamed to be part of community where this can still happen."

Another said: "Absolutely disgusting, hope the culprit is found and punished."

"This is so sad to see how must they folk feel seeing that on their wall... disgusting behaviour," one person added.

Many also called for urgent action to tackle racist and anti-social behaviour in the community.

A comment on the issue read: "Absolutely disgusting something has to be done about this anti social and racist behaviour time local councillors and mp's were doing something about what's happening in this area."

Police Scotland were contacted for comment but the incident has not been reported to officers.
