Vile racist 'F*** yer Blacks' and 'KKK' graffiti appears in Glasgow city centre

Vile racist graffiti has appeared in Glasgow city centre with bigoted thugs scrawling 'KKK' and 'F*** yer Blacks' next to a busy walkway.

A shocked member of the public came across the race-hate messages at an underpass as he headed to Cowcaddens Subway station on Thursday morning.

The 'KKK' graffiti refers to the Ku Klux Klan, a notorious and secretive 'white power' racist organisation which targets blacks in America, with the 'F*** Yer Blacks' message scrawled on a pillar nearby.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, Russell Abercrombie, who made the shock discovery, said: "It made me sick when I saw it."

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 10.35am on Thursday, 16 July, 2020 a report was made to police about offensive graffiti written on an underpass in Garscube Road, Glasgow.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

Glasgow City Council has been approached for comment.
