These horrifying images show mice droppings, broken tiles and dirty walls in a Burger King as it was given a two-star food hygiene rating.
Inspectors from the Food Standard Agency (FSA) visited the branch in East London in July.
Disgusting photos taken by the inspector showed floors with mouse poo, holes in the sides of the structure, mucky walls, missing ceiling and flooring damaged.
That specific Burger King was given a two-star rating out of a possible five, MyLondon reports.
This means that "some improvement is necessary", according to the FSA website.
Inspectors rated the branch's "Hygienic food handling" as good and the "Management of food safety" as generally satisfactory.
The issues were with the "Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building".
The inspector did note one their report that pest control records indicated there had been visits from vermin exterminators.
In their report, it was noted there had been mice activity in the ground floor kitchen area and in the ceiling, and that efforts to rid the mice had been "insufficient".
The inspector also noted that in the property's electrical room the walls were dirty and needed cleaning plus repainting.
When it came to the mice droppings the inspector wrote: "There are mouse droppings on the floor near the bait box. The bait box is located near a wall with hole."
The chemical room was described as "cluttered" and it was advised it should be cleared to prevent "harbouring pests".
The report added that part of the ceiling had vanished and tiles were missing or cracked - with an unknown source of water on the floor.
In the drink's storeroom, it was further noted there were missing and cracked tiles, and dark spots on the walls.
More mouse droppings were also found under the shelf thus requiring everything to be cleaned and disinfected in the room.
The inspector wrote in the report they asked staff to keep an eye on pest activity and there were evidence mice droppings had been walked on due to them being flattened which can potentially spread contamination into other areas.
Other areas of note included wiring coming from the ceiling, multiple plugs in one socket and food particles on the floor.
