Vile Covid deniers spray 'one less rat' on grave for stillborn babies in rampage

Police are searching for sick Covid deniers who scrawled vile graffiti over a memorial for stillborn babies.

Distressing pictures show the words "1 less rat" scribbled over the memorial at Dunfermline Cemetery in Fife, Scotland.

Police Scotland are investigating after the vandalism was reported this morning, the Daily Record reports.

Other graves were defaced with messages branding coronavirus a hoax.

A message saying '1 less rat' was written on the tribute which read 'For All Our Babies Briefly Known Forever Loved'.

On another memorial graffiti saying 'f*** you's' was daubed.

Further down in the graveyard the sick vandal wrote more anti-pandemic messages on gravestones including 'Reaction', and 'Covid Hoax' on another.

Another gravestone, beside which flowers had been placed, was spray painted with 'Scum'.

Police confirmed the graffiti has now been removed and their enquiries are continuing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.05 am on Saturday, 1 May, 2021, police were contacted with regard to a vandalism at a baby memorial within Dunfermline Cemetery, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline.

"Officers have attended and the graffiti has been removed.

"Enquiries, which are at a very early stage, are continuing."
