Vikki Wall to play for Meath in 2023 despite Australia move

Vikki Wall gave Meath GAA fans an early Christmas present as she revealed she will play in 2023.

Wall was among the star players in Meath's 2022 campaign as they defended their All-Ireland crown and the news will be a big boost for the Royals who will be without manager Eamonn Murray who stepped down from his role.

Speaking to

Wall said: "I'll be home for Meath this year. I'll be playing for Meath this year. It's a two year contract but it doesn't start until August of next year so I'll be home playing for Meath."

And she added: "It is a two year contract but because it's semi-professional it's not full time and not year round.

"It was one of the main reasons I chose Melbourne, how much they value how much I value playing football.

"It was part of the clause and allowing me to go over later last year and this year it was conversations this year."
