After posting career highs in receptions (102), yards (1,021) and touchdowns (nine), Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs ranked 73rd on NFL Network’s Top 100 Player list.
Even though he had the best season of his career, Diggs fell eight spots on the list, which is somewhat confusing.
This is something that is voted on by the players.
The Vikings have already seen safety Harrison Smith and quarterback Kirk Cousins on the list.
Per Pro Football Focus, Diggs ranked as the league’s 19th receiver last season with a grade of 81.1, a decrease of 1.5 from the 2018 season.
Diggs is only 25 years old, which is wild considering he already has four years under his belt. He’s probably not yet in his prime, so it’d be a surprise if he didn’t have similar numbers to what he had last season.
Diggs’ teammate and fellow wide receiver Adam Thielen will almost certainly be on this list as they continue to count down to No. 1.
