Vikings WR Stefon Diggs held out of Wednesday’s practice

Could the Vikings be without one of their top receivers as they face off against the Falcons in Week 1?

Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs was the only player on the team who did not participate due to a hamstring injury on Wednesday. If Diggs can’t go, we’ll see more of an opportunity for Chad Beebe, Bisi Johnson and Josh Doctson.

Cornerback Mike Hughes (knee) was limited.

Cornerback Mackensie Alexander (hamstring), linebacker Kentrell Brothers (wrist), defensive end Everson Griffen (elbow), tackle Brian O’Neill (elbow) and defensive tackle Linval Joseph (shoulder) were full participants.

As for the Falcons, tackle Matt Gono (back) was the only player listed on their injury report on Wednesday. He was limited.
