Vikings wide receiver Chad Beebe had himself quite the eventful game on Sunday.
With his team down by three, Beebe muffed a punt that the Panthers recovered in the red zone. If Carolina had scored a touchdown after taking over, the game likely would have been over. Instead, the Panthers kicked a field goal and went up by six, giving Beebe a chance to redeem himself.
Beebe did just that when he caught a pass from Kirk Cousins in the back of the end zone. That score ended up being the game-winner. Beebe talked about his day with reporters:
“I wish I could find the words,” Beebe said, via the Vikings’ Twitter account. “There are just so many emotions when things like that happen, but just trying to stay calm as best you can.”
Beebe said that it seemed like the touchdown pass was in slow motion.
“Kirk threw a great ball,” Beebe said.
