Vikings work out eight players including quarterbacks

ESPN’s Field Yates reported the Minnesota Vikings worked out eight players including veteran quarterback Colt McCoy.

This comes on the heels of quarterback Nick Mullens suffering a back injury last week during practice. They signed quarterback Tanner Morgan to the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game with the Kansas City Chiefs and they waived him earlier on Tuesday.

McCoy was a third-round pick in the 2010 NFL draft and has been in the league for 13 seasons, most recently starting games for the Arizona Cardinals last season.
