Vikings waive DE Tashawn Bower

Prior to the season, Vikings defensive end Tashawn Bower tore his Achilles.

On Tuesday, the Vikings officially waived him.

The #Vikings have waived DE Tashawn Bower, who had been on the non-football injury list with a torn Achilles.

Bower, 24, hoped to make a return to the Vikings this season. That will not happen.

The Vikings will still need to make room for cornerback Holton Hill after Week 8 since Bower wasn’t on the active roster.
