If the Vikings have any hope of keeping their season alive, they have to pull off an upset over the Saints.
So far, Minnesota’s offense has kept up with New Orleans, but the Vikings’ defense has let it down — a familiar theme in a season filled with disappointment.
At the time this article was published, the Saints led the Vikings 24-14 at the half.
With a 6-8 record, the Vikings need to win out, have the Cardinals lose out and have the Bears split their last two games. FiveThirtyEight currently has the Vikings’ postseason chances at 2%.
