Despite it being a preseason finale, Minnesota and Kansas City both utilized some starters at the beginning of Friday’s game.
Unsurprisingly, the Chiefs offense looked like the best unit out of them all. Minnesota had trouble stopping Kansas City when quarterback Patrick Mahomes was getting reps. Mahomes led two touchdown-scoring drives before leaving the game. He finished with two touchdown passes.
At the time this article was published, the Vikings trailed the Chiefs 21-3 at Arrowhead Stadium.
