Vikings undrafted WR Quartney Davis is a big fan of Stefon Diggs’ game

It was a surprise when Texas A&M wide receiver Quartney Davis ended up going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The wide receiver-needy Vikings scooped Davis up as an undrafted free agent, and it would seem as if Davis has a big opportunity to make the team.

Davis will be wearing No. 14, the number that previously belonged to Stefon Diggs, who was traded to the Bills this offseason.

Davis is actually a big fan of Diggs and is excited to rock the number that gave Vikings’ fans the Minneapolis Miracle.

“My dad called me and told me that they were giving me 14,” Davis said Thursday on a video conference call. “I didn’t even know, so it was something, though, that was pretty cool. I really love Stefon Diggs. I love his game. I watch him all the time … So, to be able to wear his number for Minnesota is a great honor.”

As a junior at Texas A&M, Davis finished with 54 catches for 616 yards and four touchdowns.
