Vikings TE David Morgan to start season on PUP

With tight end David Morgan recovering from knee surgery this offseason, the Vikings will place him on the PUP to start the 2019 season.

Morgan is a big contributor when it comes to run blocking for the Vikings.

This means Morgan won’t be able to play or practice with the team until after Week 6.

He enters his fourth season after the team drafted him in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Texas-San Antonio.

The Vikings also have Kyle Rudolph, Tyler Conklin and Irv Smith Jr. on the roster.
