The Vikings won on Sunday to move to 2-3 on the year. After a rough start, Minnesota has found a way to close out two of its last three games.
The market has taken notice. Minnesota is 1.5-point favorites against Carolina in Week 6 on Tipico Sportsbook. This is surprising for a couple of reasons: the Panthers have a better record at 3-2 and they are at home.
Minnesota’s two victories have both come at home this year. However, the team has played its opponents close on the road. The Vikings lost narrowly to both the Bengals and the Cardinals in away games. For Minnesota, a road win against a team with a better record could be an ingredient in the 2021 turnaround recipe. So it’s a good thing the line is in the Vikings’ favor in Week 6.
