Vikings sign WR Davion Davis from practice squad

The Vikings now have five active wide receivers on their roster, announcing Saturday that they have signed wide receiver Davion Davis from the practice squad.

With the move, the Vikings released cornerback Nate Meadors.

Davis played college ball at Sam Houston State and signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent this year.

He joins a wide receiver group that includes Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Bisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell.
