Vikings sign WR Adam Thielen to extension

It was clear after the 2018 season that Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen was underpaid.

The receiver finished with 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns was set to make $7.1 million in 2019.

While Thielen will still make that for 2019, he also signed a four-year, $64 million extension which will keep him in Minnesota through the 2024 season and give him the money he deserves. It could very well make Thielen, 28, a Viking for life.

As far as specifics are concerned, $35 million that is guaranteed. Per Spotrac, the undrafted free agent has made more than $14 million throughout his career.

The Vikings signed wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a five-year, $72 million extension last season.
