The Vikings released cornerback Mark Fields earlier this week, only to sign him to their practice squad two days later.
Fields had been dealing with a groin injury that would have kept him out in Week 2 against the Packers.
The Vikings traded a 2021 conditional seventh-round pick to the Chiefs prior to the season for Fields, an undrafted free agent out of Clemson.
We’ll see if Fields gets another opportunity on the 53-man roster.
