Vikings sign 1st-round pick Garrett Bradbury

Finally, the Vikings have signed their first-round pick.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Vikings announced they have signed offensive lineman Garrett Bradbury. The Vikings selected Bradbury with the 18th overall pick.

Per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, Bradbury’s contract is for four year, $12.88. million with a $7.39 million guaranteed.

“It’s good that I can put this to rest and get back to football,” Bradbury added via Vikings.com.

How was Bradbury able to sign his contract? Because of linebacker Eric Kendricks restructuring his contract via ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.

We’ll have more on Kendricks’ contract restructure, but it’s a nice gesture from him so the Vikings could get this deal done. The most-obvious Viking to restructure his deal would have been Kyle Rudolph. We’ll see if the team will work towards restructuring his deal, something that broke down late last week.

The Vikings have signed 11 of 12 draft picks. The only remaining is seventh-round pick, Austin Cutting.
