Vikings should bring back WR Aldrick Robinson

Aldrick Robinson was a touchdown machine for the Vikings in 2018.

Robinson had just 17 catches in 14 games, but five of those catches were for touchdowns.

The 30-year-old journeyman receiver will be a free agent this offseason, and the Vikings would be wise to bring him back.

Why?

Robinson has the familiarity with Kirk Cousins and after Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, there are question marks on this team at wide receiver. Laquon Treadwell has been bad, and who knows what Brandon Zylstra and Chad Beebe will ultimately give the team?

I’d be surprised if the Vikings didn’t sign a wide receiver in free agency and/or draft in April.

We know Robinson’s ceiling isn’t high, but we also know where his floor is. Robinson will be inexpensive, and is certainly worthy of a training camp spot in 2019.
