Vikings select center Garrett Bradbury with 18th pick

The first round went about how the Vikings could have hoped in the 2019 NFL Draft.

With the 18th overall pick, the Vikings selected NC State center Garrett Bradbury.

It’s no secret the Vikings needed help on the offensive line, and over the last week, Bradbury has been linked to the Vikings more than once.

What does this mean for the Vikings’ offensive line?

Bradbury will likely be a Day 1 starter at either guard or center, with Pat Elflein playing the other spot. Bradbury has experience at guard as well.

Riley Reiff and Brian O’Neill will line up at tackles.

Bradbury was Luke Easterling’s 17th overall prospect over at Draft Wire.

The Vikings had their choice between Bradbury and Florida tackle Jawaan Taylor, which isn’t a place the Vikings thought they’d likely be.

It’s early, but Vikings fans have to feel good about their first pick.
