Vikings’ schedule could allow them to get hot late

The Vikings’ 2019 schedule was released on Wednesday evening. You can check it out here.

The team will host the Falcons to start the season and has five primetime games for the second-straight season.

Something to keep an eye on is how the Vikings’ schedule ends. Three of the team’s last four games are at home, something that could prove to be especially valuable. All three of those home games are against NFC North foes.

In Week 14, the Vikings host the Lions. In Week 16, the Vikings host the Packers on Monday Night Football. And to close out the season in Week 17, the Vikings host the Bears.

The lone road game comes in Week 15 when the Vikings travel to Los Angeles to play the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

The Vikings are 17-7 in three seasons at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Minnesota finished 2018 with an 8-7-1 record. The Vikings needed a Week 17 win against the Bears to make the postseason. They could get that same opportunity in 2019.
