Vikings S Jayron Kearse arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of firearm without permit

On Sunday morning, Vikings safety Jayron Kearse was arrested on suspicion of DUI and carrying a firearm without a permit.

Below is the official report:

The Vikings have issued a statement:

“We are aware of Jayron’s arrest and are gathering additional information at this time.”

Kearse, a 2016 seventh-round pick out of Clemson, has appeared in all eight games for the Vikings this season, starting two.

He’s in the last year of his rookie contract.

The Vikings beat the Redskins on Thursday Night Football in Week 8.
