Vikings RB Dalvin Cook sits out team’s 2nd preseason game

Vikings running back Dalvin Cook sat out of the team’s first preseason game against the Saints.

In the team’s second game against the Seahawks, Cooks also sat out.

Cook isn’t hurt, but it’s worth noting that he has missed 17 of 32 games in his first two seasons. The Vikings are being careful with their third-year running back.

Rookie Alexander Mattison got the start against Seattle.

The Vikings play the Cardinals on Saturday, and it would be a surprise if Cook played.

Chances are, we’ll see Cook in Week 1 on Sept. 8 against the Falcons.
