Vikings RB Dalvin Cook named FedEx Ground Player of the Week

After running for 142 yards and two touchdowns in last week’s win over the Lions, Vikings running back Dalvin Cook has been named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 7.

It was Cook’s fifth 100-yard game of the season, a mark that leads the NFL. Cook also leads the NFL with 725 yards and eight touchdowns.

We’ll see if he can keep the good times rolling on Thursday night against the Redskins. Washington is allowing 134 rushing yards per game, a mark that ranks 27th in the league.
