Vikings RB Dalvin Cook continues his hot streak

A healthy Dalvin Cook is a dangerous Dalvin Cook.

He proved that again in Thursday night’s 19-9 Vikings win over the Redskins.

Cook finished with 171 total yards (98 rushing and 73 receiving) to go along with a rushing touchdown.

On the season, Cook down has a league-leading 823 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, to go with 29 receptions for 293 yards.

That puts him on pace for 1,646 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 58 receptions and 584 receiving yards.

Those are All-Pro numbers.

“Dalvin (Cook) definitely appreciates us,” Vikings guard Pat Elflein said after Thursday’s game. “We appreciate him a lot too. He can do a lot of special things out there with the ball. It’s fun to watch. We bounce off his momentum.”

Cook has a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 84.7, a mark that ranks fourth in the NFL.

He’ll have his next chance to showcase his skills in Week 9 against the Chiefs in Kansas City. The Chiefs rank 29th in the NFL, allowing 148 rushing yards per contest.
