Vikings rank in top 10 of PFF receiver rankings

The folks over at Pro Football Focus have ranked each team’s pass catchers as we approach the 2019 season.

The Vikings rank eighth on the list.

Here’s what PFF wrote about the Vikings:

On PFF’s list of best pass-catching tandems entering the 2019 NFL season, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs were right where they belong: No. 1.  They earned overall grades of 89.4 and 81.1, respectively, and paired to have the best hands in the league. On 290 targets combined, only six passes were dropped between the two. And don’t sleep on Kyle Rudolph, who has notched passer ratings when targeted above 100.0 in each of the past five seasons.

The Vikings might have the best one-two punch in the NFL with Thielen and Diggs, but after that, there are some question marks?

Who will win the third wide receiver spot, and what is the depth like after that?

It is true, though, with Rudolph and rookie Irv Smith Jr., the Vikings are pretty strong with pass catchers at tight end.
