Vikings QB Kirk Cousins named NFC Offensive Player of the Month

What a month of October it was for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Cousins led the Vikings to a perfect 4-0 record during the month, and with that, he threw for a combined 1,261 yards, 10 touchdowns and one interception (that actually bounced off Stefon Diggs’ hands). He threw for 300 or more yards in all but one contest.

Thanks to Cousins’ stretch, the Vikings went from down in the dumps to a current playoff team in the NFC.

It’s the third time that Cousins has won the award and the first time a Viking has won it since Nov. 2017 when Case Keenum won it.

We’ll see if Cousins can keep the good times rolling in November. The Vikings play the Chiefs in Kansas City, Cowboys in Dallas and Broncos in Minneapolis in the month. They end it with a Week 12 bye over Thanksgiving weekend.
