Vikings place tenders on S Anthony Harris and T Rashod Hill

After releasing safety Andrew Sendejo and guard Mike Remmers, we have more Vikings news for you!

The Vikings have placed tenders on restricted free agents Anthony Harris and Rashod Hill.

The #Vikings have tendered one-year contracts to Restricted Free Agents S Anthony Harris and T Rashod Hill.

Harris will receive a second-round tender and Hill will receive a right-of-first-refusal tender.

For Harris, he’ll likely start alongside Harrison Smith next season. He was one of the best safeties last season after filling in for the injured Sendejo.

For a team to sign him, they can, but they’ll have to give the Vikings a second-round pick for it. I’d be surprised if we don’t hear of a Harris extension in the next few days.

#Vikings also have announced that they have tendered restricted free agent tackle Rashod Hill. That has been expected to be for $2.025 million.

As for Hill, he’ll be a depth guy for the Vikings. His tender is basically saying if another team wants to pay him more than the Vikings, they can. But the Vikings will let the market dictate his value and decide from there.
