CB Cameron Dantzler, a fixture on the Minnesota defense when healthy, has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the Vikings announced Wednesday.
Dantzler is a rookie cornerback out of Mississippi State who has already made four starts. In the other games, he has not played due to an injury.
Dantzler being on the list doesn’t mean he has the virus; players put on the list may have just been exposed to it.
According to multiple reports, Dantzler was not seen at practice today, so this explains his absence. Dantzler is the first player the Vikings have placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list since training camp, Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune first reported.
Dantzler has 24 total tackles and two tackles for loss this season.
