BetMGM has set over-under win totals for each NFL team, and Minnesota’s is currently at 8.5.
I’d say that’s a fair assessment. This team probably wouldn’t drop off next season and finish with five wins, but there is also a chance the Vikings regress to the point where they don’t do as well as last year. I think it could very well be a nine-win team if Minnesota makes another move in free agency and drafts well.
It’s not time to say the Vikings are tanking, cause Rick Spielman and Mike Zimmer have both been around long enough that it’s a crucial year for them. A big step back could be trouble if they want to stay with team. However, a winning record with a younger team could come off as promising.
