Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes suffered what looked to be a sprained ankle on Sunday against the Lions.
Will that injury keep Rhodes out in Week 15 against the Chargers? Vikings coach Mike Zimmer doesn’t think so.
“I don’t, but it’s hard for me to say,” Zimmer said Monday. “These guys just came in today, and I got a report from a trainer. They don’t think so.”
Rhodes hasn’t had the best season, but you’d rather have him healthy than not, especially for depth down the stretch.
The Vikings have their first practice of the week on Wednesday. We’ll see what Rhodes’ practice status is then.
