Vikings open as big favorites vs. Raiders in Week 3

After a tough loss to the Packers in Week 2, the Vikings are looking to get back on track in Week 3 at home against the Oakland Raiders.

Per Sportsbook.com, the Vikings have opened as eight-point favorites. A bet on either side of that pays at -110.

A straight moneyline bet on the Vikings pays out at -390, while a moneyline bet on the Raiders pays out at +310.

The over/under for the game is listed at 43.5. A bet on either side of that pays out at -110.

The Vikings are 5-10 all-time against the Raiders. The two teams haven’t faced off since Nov. 15, 2015 when the Vikings won 30-14 behind 203 rushing yards from Adrian Peterson.

Adrian Peterson does not play for the Vikings anymore.

The main attraction for Vikings fans going into this game was that Antonio Brown was traded to the Raiders.

Well . . . in case you missed it, Brown does not play for the Raiders anymore.

Both teams go into the game with 1-1 records.

To round out the NFC North, the Packers are 7.5-point favorites to beat the Broncos, the Lions are 7-point underdogs on the road against the Eagles, and the Bears are four-point favorites on the road against the Redskins.
