Vikings officially sign QB Sean Mannion and WR Jordan Taylor

The Vikings officially signed two offensive pieces on Monday afternoon, inking quarterback Sean Mannion and wide receiver Jordan Taylor to deals.

Mannion will compete with Kyle Sloter for the backup quarterback spot to Kirk Cousins, and Taylor could compete for the WR3 spot with Laquon Treadwell.

Mannion’s deal, per Spotrac, is for one-year, $900,000. We haven’t seen Taylor’s contract details yet.

Safety Anthony Harris and tackle Rashod Hill also signed their tenders.

Players returned to Minneapolis on Monday with offseason workouts beginning.
