Vikings offensive line ranks near bottom of rankings

The major focus of the Vikings’ offseason was to address the offensive line.

The team signed Josh Kline, and more importantly, drafted center Garrett Bradbury in the first round.

Still, though, Mike Renner from Pro Football Focus has the Vikings offensive line ranked 25th in his offensive line rankings as we head into the 2019 regular season.

Here’s what Renner wrote about the Vikings:

The initial results from the first-round pick Garrett Bradbury are mixed. He didn’t earn a run-blocking grade above 60.0 in either of his three preseason contests, but only allowed one pressure on 30 pass-blocking snaps.

Even if the Vikings have one of the worst offensive lines in the league, that’s OK as long as they improve from last season. I know that sounds silly, but this unit was so bad last season. For a team that was a win away from making the playoffs last season, a slight improvement would make all the difference in 2019.
