Vikings’ Mackensie Alexander and Anthony Barr likely to return vs. Bears

After sitting out in Week 3 against the Raiders, it sounds like the Vikings will have starting linebacker Anthony Barr and nickelback Mackensie Alexander back in the lineup.

Barr was out with a groin injury, and Alexander had actually missed the last two games with a dislocated elbow.

Both players were full participants in Thursday’s practice, which puts them on track to play on Sunday against the Bears in Chicago.

It’s sure to be a defensive battle for both teams.

Vikings guard Josh Kline (concussion) has sat out the last two days of practice. We’ll see if he can pass the concussion protocol on Friday.

If Kline can’t play, we can expect Dakota Dozier to get his second start of the season.
