Vikings LB Ben Gedeon praises team’s culture

A few years back, Rhett Ellison’s dad threw some shots at the culture and leadership of the Minnesota Vikings.

We haven’t heard much since then, and most Vikings consider the franchise a great one to play for.

That includes third-year linebacker Ben Gedeon.

“It has been great,” Gedeon said via My Town NEO. “We have an awesome locker room with great guys and a great culture.”

Gedeon, a 2017 fourth-round pick, has started 17 games over the last two seasons. In 2018, he had a career-high 53 tackles.

Familiarity always helps with these things, and the presence of the Wilf family, Rick Spielman, and Mike Zimmer have helped create a positive culture.

However, the 2019 season is a big season for the Vikings and that could very well affect the culture. After a disappointing 2018 season, it’s a run in the playoffs or a bust for the Vikings.
