The Vikings don’t have their bye week until Week 11, which lands on Nov. 24. It’s the second-latest bye week in team history.
It’s always tricky to determine what week is best for a bye week. Most teams, I would guess, would prefer the bye week to be later rather than earlier in the season, as more injuries start to build up.
The Vikings have their bye week before five crucial games, four against NFC opponents and three against 2018 playoff teams. They’ll also get all three NFC North opponents at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Obviously, the healthier the Vikings are for a (hopefully) late-season playoff push, the better.
