Vikings have tryouts with two more special teams players

Minnesota has dealt with some difficulties on special teams recently.

The Vikings special teams was horrific against the Lions. The group gave up two blocked punts. Kicker Dan Bailey also missed an extra point.

To make matters worse, the Vikings lost their practice squad kicker to the Jaguars this week. In addition, the team placing long snapper Austin Cutting on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

To weather the various special teams problems, the Vikings have some tryouts this week. Yesterday’s NFL transactions wire listed two kickers as having tryouts with the Vikings.
