Vikings have 5 primetime games for 2nd-straight season

The 2019 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday evening.

You can check out the Vikings’ full schedule here. They’ll open up the season against the Falcons.

For the second-consecutive season, the Vikings will have five primetime games. Three of those games will come in the month of December, including a back-to-back.

In Week 8 on Oct. 24, the Vikings will host the Redskins on Thursday Night Football (NFLN/FOX, 7:20 p.m.).

In Week 10 on Nov. 10, the Vikings travel to play the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 7:20 p.m.).

In Week 13 (after a bye week) on Dec. 2, the Vikings travel to play the Seahawks on Monday Night Football (ESPN, 7:15 p.m.).

In Week 15 on Dec. 15, the Vikings travel to play the Chargers on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 7:20 p.m.).

In Week 16 on Dec. 13, the Vikings host the Packers on Monday Night Football (ESPN, 7:15 p.m.).

Three out of those four teams made the playoffs last season and four are NFC  opponents.
