Minnesota’s loss to New Orleans has left it without anything to play for in Week 17.
It remains to be seen what the Vikings will do with this meaningless game against the Lions. Minnesota has dealt with injuries, especially on defense, pretty much all year. This game is no different with key players unavailable on both sides of the ball.
The Vikings announced Wednesday that Dalvin Cook’s father, James Cook, has died. He was 46. Cook has gone home to Miami and will not play on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.
