Vikings earn ‘too soon to tell’ grade for 2019 offseason

The Vikings had a somewhat quiet this offseason compared to last, but this still managed to add center Garrett Bradbury (draft), tight end Irv Smith Jr. (draft) and guard Josh Kline (free agency), while retaining linebacker Anthony Barr and safety Anthony Harris. The team also extended wide receiver Adam Thielen.

So, how’d the Vikings do?

The folks over at ESPN gave the Vikings a ‘too soon to tell’ grade, which honestly, should be every team’s grade after every offseason. But here we are.

These are moves that still need to shake themselves out. While Bradbury seemed like a great, we won’t know that until he plays a game.

To round out the NFC North, the Lions ranked as above average, and the Bears and Packers joined the Vikings in the too early to tell category.
