Vikings fans have to be happy after the team selected offensive lineman Garrett Bradbury with the 18th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Bradbury was linked to the Vikings throughout the draft process, but heading into the night, there were questions if he’d still be there.
He was, and Vikings general manager Rick Spielman got his guy.
The folks over at Bleacher Report graded each pick as it happened live. The Vikings got pretty good feedback, as expected, getting an A- grade.
Here’s what BR wrote about the pick:
A starter for several seasons at guard and center who has blocked for a variety of NFL players and prospects (quarterback Ryan Finley, running backs Nyheim Hines and Jaylen Samuels), Bradbury is experienced and dependable. He will quickly develop into a capable NFL starter. The crippling ennui of Vikings football aside, this is a fine pick.
It’s no secret that the Vikings needed offensive line help and this should be something that pays off immediately.
