Danielle Hunter has put together back-to-back 14.5-sack seasons. Last season, he became the youngest player in NFL history to pile up 50 career sacks.
And even still, the Vikings defensive end isn’t in the conversations as one of the best defensive players in the NFL.
Solomon Wilcots over at Pro Football Focus lists Hunter as one of the league’s most underrated players on the defensive side of the ball.

His name is seldom mentioned when discussing the league’s best pass-rushers, but his 15.3% pressure rate over the last two seasons ranks fifth among qualifying players at his position — and he is just entering his prime at 25 years old. As his stock continues to rise, the recognition of Hunter’s talents and increasing production will also attract the attention he rightfully deserves.
With Hunter now paired with Yannick Ngakou, that should create quite the nightmare for opposing offensive lines.
