Vikings creeping up PFF offensive line rankings

The Vikings’ main focus this offseason was the improvement of the offensive line.

So far in 2019, the Vikings have rattled off three-straight games with 170 or more rushing yards.

In Pro Football Focus’ offensive line rankings after Week 4, the Vikings rank 24th. That’s an improvement of three spots from the last PFF ranking.

Here’s what Mike Renner wrote about the Vikings:

We’ve highlighted the struggles of this year’s first-rounder Garrett Bradbury in depth here at PFF already, but what has been swept under the rug a bit has been the outstanding play of last year’s second-rounder Brian O’Neill. He’s only allowed two pressures on the season and has a team-leading 72.6 run-blocking grade, as well.

While there is some improving to do with this group, through three games, it’s clear this unit is better than last season.

The next test won’t be easy as the Vikings travel to play the Bears in Chicago in Week 4.
