Vikings could use Jordan Taylor as punt returner

With Marcus Sherels signing with the Saints this offseason, an option to replace him at punt returner for the Vikings is Jordan Taylor.

Taylor, a wide receiver, officially signed with the Vikings on Monday.

As Tomasson notes, Taylor returned 11 punts for 103 yards in 2017 with the Broncos.

It doesn’t appear as if he returned punts in college, but averaging 9.4 yards per return is solid, even if it is a small sample size.

Sherels averaged 12 yards per return last season with the Vikings.

Other options to fills Sherels spot include Mike Hughes, Holton Hill (after his four-game suspension), Chad Beebe and Brandon Zylstra.
