Vikings coach Mike Zimmer sounds pretty upset with CB Holton Hill

Earlier this week, Vikings cornerback Holton Hill was suspended another four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Hill was already suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league’s performance enhancing drugs policy, so he’ll miss the first half of the season.

That has his coach Mike Zimmer, well, not so happy.

“I really don’t have much thoughts on it,” Zimmer said Friday. “Disappointed is not a good word for me.”

It’s a tough look for the undrafted second-year corner. There is a reason why Hill went undrafted a year ago, and attitude issues played into that. Even though Hill performed very well last season, he’s not guaranteed anything heading into 2019, not even a roster spot.

“We don’t know if he’s even going to make the team,” Zimmer continued. “So, we will just see how that goes. We don’t know if any of these guys are going to make the team. We’re always looking for guys, so we will see what’s going on.”

Stay tuned.
