After suffering a dislocated elbow in the season opener against the Falcons, cornerback Mackensie Alexander missed Week 2 against the Packers.
As the team prepares to face off against the Raiders in Week 3, Alexander missed Wednesday’s practice, per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. Also missing practice was linebacker Ben Gedeon (groin). Gedeon also missed last week’s game.
No cause for concern quite yet considering we still have four days before the Vikings and Raiders face off.
It’s worth noting that the Mike Hughes is close to returning after recovering from a torn ACL suffered last season. Hughes was listed as questionable last week.
We saw Jayron Kearse fill Alexander’s slot corner spot with Alexander out last week. Eric Wilson filled Gedeon’s spot at linebacker.
